Players Configuration

Currently loaded audiofile
These textboxes contain the exact paths to the audiofiles currently loaded in the players. JingleBox will set these paths whenever you load an audiofile into a player.
Active players
You might want to use less then all four players. With the 'Active Player' buttons you can activate or de-activate any of the four players.
Overrule
If a jingle is playing though a soundcard, the soundcard becomes unavailable to other players. With the 'overrule' button in the Configuration window, you can choose what to happen if you try to start another player which is routed to the same soundcard as the player currently playing.
OVERRULE OFF:
If Overrule is off, you cannot start a player if the output it is assigned to is in use by another player which is currently playing. In this case, players will never be stopped by another player trying to use the same output.
OVERRULE ON:
If Overrule is on, the player you started will force all other players using the same soundcard to stop. The player will actually cut off previously started jingles playing through the same audiocard. Then the player you started will begin playing.
If you have more than one soundcard, it is recommended that you route the players to different outputs and set Overrule Off. In that case jingles can never be cut off by accident.
Toggle
The 'Toggle' button changes the behaviour of the startbuttons and remote interface.
TOGGLE OFF:
If you press the start-button of a player which is already playing, the player will go back to the cue-position and restart.
TOGGLE ON:
If you press the start-button of a player which is already playing, the player will stop.
Safe
The 'Safe' button can prevent the players from accidentally being ejected.
SAFE ON:
With the 'Safe'-function switched on, audiofiles cannot be loaded into a player which is then playing.
SAFE OFF:
With the 'Safe'-function switched off, audiofiles can always be loaded into a player. If necessery, the player will be stopped and ejected before a new jingle is loaded. |
