Ultra autocad tool: Import drawing information from AutoCAD drawing or DWG files into ODBC compliant database table

Import Drawing Information

With Ultra AutoCAD Tool you can easily import information from many AutoCAD drawing (DWG) files into any database table that is ODBC compliant. Some ODBC databases include SQL Server, MS Access, MySQL, Sybase, and Oracle. This tutorial will show you how to update an SQL Server database table with layer data from an AutoCAD drawing file. The following instructions assume that you are running the Window’s XP operating system. If you are running a different version of Window’s you should still be able to perform all the required tasks but the steps described in this tutorial may differ slightly on your system. Please note that Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) must be installed on your system.
