Password Quality Indicator

Is it very important to know that the use of strong encryption algorithm is not enough!

It is also very important to use strong passwords.

Good pasword must contain many different characters, digits and different case letters..

AEP has special PQ (Password Qualtity) indicator for this purpose. It helps you to see the qualtity of used password.

AEP thinks that typed password is strong if:

• It is long (at least 10 characters)
• Many different symbols
• Using digits together with letters
• Using special characters (!@<> etc)
• Using letters of different case ( ex.: aAqwE)
• Using notprinted symbols (typed in binary editor)
• and etc

It is also highly recommended to activate special option "Load common passwords list" ( The password quality indicator will become red if you use password from common passwords list (the list contains about 40,000 common passwords used by hackers in brute force attacks). For example this list contains such bad passwords, like "123", "qwe", "mama", "world", "john", "matrix" and etc.
