Password Management
There are so many passwords in our daily life such as those for file encryption, Email and ICQ account, computer login, credit card and deposit book etc. Feel dizzy? It’s a common occurrence that you forget one of your passwords one day. Now with "Password management", you can manage all your passwords by just remembering one password, or even remember no password at all by using an authorized disk or a file as the password. With "Password management", you can select a password and paste it into password input box during encryption. You can also use "Copy password" option to copy a password into clipboard and then paste it into other applications. All passwords are completely safe since they are encrypted before saving. Never lose the password to enter "Password management". Keep safe the authorized disk and back up the password file with "Backup information file".
To use "Password management", first fill out the "Title", "Password" and "Notes" in the "edit column" and then click "Add" button. If you have modified any information above, remember to click "Modify". Click "Delete" to erase an item. Before exit, click "Save" first. By clicking "Save as file" button, you can save the password record as a .txt file which is convenient to modify or print. Click "Change password" button, and you can change the password to enter "Password management".
Change Password
Password Protection turns on the password prompt for SuperEncryptor. After you enable this feature, you will be prompted for a password every time you run SuperEncryptor. Using a password to protect SuperEncryptor prevents others from using or uninstalling SuperEncryptor to bypass your protections.
To enforce password protection of SuperEncryptor, you must also set up a password using Tools > Change Password, otherwise this selection is turned off when you close SuperEncryptor. It is strongly suggested setting up a password for the safety concern!
Backup Information Files
The backup information includes: the passwords to enter SuperEncryptor and “Password management”, password information kept in “Password management”, information of hidden folders and password-protected folders etc. The Information files are saved in windows system which is easy to break down and often needs reinstalling. The information files will therefore be lost. That will make the hidden or password-protected folders difficult to be restored, and you will even lose the passwords in “Password management” for ever! So, you must backup the information files in time!
Restore Information Files
When you reinstall the operating system or your hard disk fails, you can use this function to restore your passwords file and information of hidden/ password-protected folders.
Intelligent Online Update
