Balloon Object's property panel

- Name: The default name for the Balloon object is Balloon 1, Balloon 2 etc., as visible in the name property and in the Timeline in the order inserted into the movie. You can change these to names of your choosing by simply deleting default name and entering your chosen name. Ensure the correct Balloon is selected before changing the name property.
- Style: The style property allows you to change the appearance (shape, style and color) of the Balloon tooltip. The default style is Classic. A new balloon style, "soft" has been added in version 5.0 which provides a very smooth and professional looking Balloon for your tooltips.

- Shapes: Balloon objects can be inserted into scenes in two different shapes. Either a rounded Rectangle with beveled corners and/or a Circle/Ellipse can be used. Samples of the two different balloon tip shapes are shown below.
- Color: You can specify one of seven colors for the balloon object.
- Text: The text property allows you to customise font, font size, font color, text alignment and also edit the text that is visible on the Balloon tooltip. Click on the Text button on the property panel or Double-click the body of the Balloon to display the Text editor. Balloon tooltip text and other options can be changed as described below. You can also check spelling of entered text. Two additional options have been introduced in version 5.0. These can be found in the bottom left corner of the text editor and are explained below :
- AutoCalculate Size: Size your text area to automatically fit the amount of entered text.
- AutoCalculate Time: Automatically adjust the timing in the Timeline based on the setting of the Reading Speed property in Preferences.
Also, check the box Apply to all balloons on the font properties menu to apply chosen style to all balloons in all scenes in the movie. Note: This Apply to all feature can also be used for Note, Text and Button objects.
- Orientation: Clicking and dragging the Angle wheel allows you to position the orientation of the Balloon tip's pointer.
