|
Image
The Image object allows you to insert images into your scene. There are three options available for inserting images. You can insert images from:
- File: Images already on your disk. Browse for images in your disk and click Open to insert an image. Demo Builder auto-inserts the image in the center of the scene, you can move this by dragging and dropping it anywhere on the scene. The image is assigned a default name and should appear in your Timeline.
- Clipart: Demo Builder comes with different cliparts you can use in your project.
- Take Screenshots: This option allows you to take new screenshots and insert them as images into your scene. The Screen Capture Wizard is where you set up and take the screenshot that is inserted as an image.
Image's property panel

- Name The image object is assigned a default name (Example Image 1, Image 2, Image 3, e.t.c.) as visible in the Timeline and Name property in the order they are inserted into the scene. The default name follows the same order for all 'insert options'. You can change these to names of your choosing by simply deleting default name and typing your chosen name. Ensure the correct Image is selected before changing name property.
- Replace Image The replace image icon differs depending on the method used to insert image.
- Transparent This property is enabled for insert options- From File and Take Screenshot. It is for adjusting image transparency. Checking the transparency box, makes it possible to see through the image. Transparency cannot be applied to an image from cliparts, the checkbox is disabled when an image is taken from cliparts.
- Opacity Is for adjusting the degree of transparency, brightness and dimness. 0% Opacity makes the object invisible
- Flip and Rotate The Flip and rotate property allows you to flip the image vertically or horizontally and rotate the image by angle. To reset the image to its original state, click the Reset icon.
