How to insert a Note in your movie scene :

1. From the Objects toolbar, select Note.
2. Move cursor to active scene in editing window and left click to position the Note Pad.
3. The Note Pad will be added to the movie's scene and will appear in the TimeLine with a default note name (for example Note 1, Note 2 etc.).
4. Reposition, resize and/or rename the Note Pad by using the Note Pad property panel as described below.

1. Name: The default name for the Note Pad is Note 1, Note 2 etc., as visible in the name property and in the Timeline in the order inserted into the movie. You can change these to names of your choosing by simply deleting default name and entering your chosen name. Ensure the correct Note is selected before changing the name property.
2. Style: The style property allows you to change the appearance (shape, style and color) of the Note Pad. The default style is Classic. A new note style, "soft" has been added in version 5.0 which provides a very smooth and professional looking note for your scenes. Check the box Apply to all notes at the bottom of the style properties menu to apply chosen style to all notes in all scenes in the movie.

   • Color: Choose your preferred color for the Note Pad from the color palette.
   • Pin Icon: You can choose to have no Pin icon on your Note Pad or choose from Pin icons.
3. Text: The text property allows you to customise font, font size, font color, text alignment and also edit the text that is visible on the Note Pad. Double-click the body of the Note Pad to change the Note Pad text. You can also check spelling of entered text. Two additional options have been introduced in version 5.0. These can be found in the bottom left corner of the text editor and are explained below.
   • AutoCalculate Size: Size your text area to automatically fit the amount of entered text.
   • AutoCalculate Time: Automatically adjust the timing in the Timeline based on the setting of the Reading Speed property in Preferences.
   Check the box Apply to all notes on the font properties menu to apply chosen style to all buttons in all scenes in the movie.
