Backup
Backup and restore services are simple. Backup service enables you to gather garbage (automatically), check the database on errors and repair it if necessary (-> Restore).
It creates a *.phbackup file which contains the current database. You can use this file to restore the PhotoLab Calendar if it will be necessary. To make a backup copy, select the Backup menu item. After that you will see the Backup dialog box:

Using this window, you can activate a auto-backup option and specify the backup database folder (by default: \your installation folder\BACKUP). Remove backup files older then [...] days - this enables PhotoLab Calendar to automatically delete backup-files. Enabling this feature may save disk space on the volume.
If you need to be sure there were no errors during the database backup/restore, you should see the operation log. In case of errors the log will have a string «gbak: ERROR» After completing the process, you will see the appropriate message: "Completion status: Normal".
Restore
Use the Restore function to restore of Calendar from the previously created backup copy. To restore Calendar, select the "Restore" menu item. After that you will see the Restore dialog box:

Specify the file name from which you want to restore the database. After that, press "Restore" button. If you need to be sure there were no errors during the database backup/restore, you should see the operation log. In case of errors the log will have a string «gbak: ERROR» After completing the process, you will see the appropriate message: "Completion status: Normal".
