Multiple Monitors

Multiple Monitors

In the Multiple Monitors tab you can control how gPhotoShow shows images in a system with more than one Monitor.

Monitors Detected
In this field gPhotoShow shows the number of monitors reported by the operating system

Monitors used for the Windows desktop
In this field gPhotoShow shows the number of monitor currently used by Windows.

Enable Multiple Monitors support
When this option is enabled gPhotoShow will display images on all monitors used by Windows. When disabled gPhotoShow will ignore your secondary display adapters and will display images only on the primary monitor.

Display Images on unused monitors
When this option is selected gPhotoShow will temporary extend the desktop on all unused secondary monitors, in this way it will show images on all monitors even if they are unused (ie. not used for the windows desktop) when the slide show starts. This setting may not work with some display adapters due to problems in their drivers. When the slide show ends the monitors are detached from the desktop and the system will go back to its initial status.

Display Method
Here you can choose what gPhotoShow must display on monitors:
- A different image on each monitor
- Same Image on all monitors
- Only one image on one monitor sequentially
- Only one image spanned on all monitors

Each Monitor has its own timing
If selected each monitor will have its own timing. This is useful when one monitor is displaying a long video (or an image with a different timing) and you wish other monitors continue to change image. When enabled each monitor is allowed to change image when the delay time expires so the delay set in the Images section is the time between image change on each monitor. When not enable gPhotoShow has a single timer to change images, in this way image change is synchronized and the delay set in the Images section is actually the delay between an image change (regardless of the monitor where the change happen).

Split Screen
If selected gPhotoShow will display 2 or 4 pictures together on the screen. When this option is enabled no image will be shown on secondary monitors.

Program to run before SlideShow

Program to run after SlideShow
In these boxes you can enter the name of two programs that must be run before starting the slideshow and after the slideshow is finished (for example to enable/disable TV output)
