Web Pages

To show panorama and video files gPhotoShow uses web pages stored in the folder "Templates" in the gPhotoShow installation folder (usually c:\program files\gPhotoShow). There are two web pages for each file format. For example to show the MOV file format gPhotoShow uses the templates MOV1.HTM and MOV2.HTM The template files can be edited with any html editor and customized in the way you prefer, you should only take care of using the name "pano.xxx" for the file that must be shown (xxx must be replaced by the real file extension).

When gPhotoShow needs to show a panorama or a video it copies the file into the "templates" folder, renames it "pano.xxx" (where xxx is the original file extension) then shows the appropriate web page. (xxx1.htm or xxx2.htm)

Microsoft Access to MySQL Database Converter usb drive data recovery software digital camera file recovery

When the appropriate option is selected gPhotoShow is able to show panoramas saved as jpg file by using the MGI Zoom ActiveX, in this case gPhotoShow uses the IVR file ""default.ivr" stored in the "templates" folder.

The gPhotoShow install doesn't provide any plugin or ActiveX to show the supported Panorama files. You must install the plugin or ActiveX needed to show your panorama files in other case gPhotoShow won't be able to show these files. Without any plugin gPhotoShow is only able to show JPG or IVR files by using the PTViewer Java applet. Of course your Internet Explorer must have the Java Virtual machine enabled !

When showing web pages (as well as panoramas) gPhotoShow relies on the web pages to stop the screen saver when somebody uses the keyboard or the mouse. The templates provided by gPhotoShow closes the page on mouse clicks or keyboard hit but not on mouse moves this allows to users to play with the video or panorama.

If gPhotoShow shows a normal web page not prepared for the screen saver it is possible that you must press the keys Alt-F4 to stop the screen saver. For this reason I added the option:

Intercept all keyboard and mouse events on web pages

When this option is selected gPhotoShow attempts to get all the events from Internet Explorer then should be able to stop the screen saver even on a web page not prepared for the screen saver (without any script). This option uses undocumented features of IE so it may not work on some IE versions.
