Import/Synchronize Tab
The Import/Synchronize tab lets you import a Window Media video/Audio file , Microsoft PowerPoint slides, HTML files, or still images that you want to add to the presentation you are creating. After importing , you can synchronize slides with a video/audio file. The Import/Synchronize tab is divided into several parts: Tree view area, Slide view area, Slide list area, and Video monitor.
Tree view area
The tree view area displays a tree view of the folders containing files for your current project. The folders are distinguished by the types of files they contain.
The following folders contain any imported files for the current project.
- Video: Contains video/audio files with .asf,.wmv, .wma,rm,.rmvb,.ra,.mpg,.mp3,.wav,.avi and .mid file name extensions.
- PPT: Contains Microsoft PowerPoint presentations with .ppt, .pps,.pptx,.ppsx file extensions
- Image: Contains image files with .gif, .jpg, .png file name extensions.
- HTML: Contains HTML files with .htm or.html file extensions.
- Flash: Contains flash files with .swf file name extensions.
- URL: Contains URLs.
slide view area
The slide view area display the slides you selected on the slide list.
Note: when you selected a html file, only an Icon image displayed.
slide list area
Displays the topic list of slides, still images, html files. You can rearrange the ordering of the items by using the MoveUP or MoveDown Button. Use the Delete Button to delete an item from the slide list.
video monitor
To synchronize an audio or video file with a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation, you must play the audio or video file first , then click Next button, the slide displayed in the slide view area are added to the timeline. You can also preview the Video/Audio file in the video monitor.
