Sothink HTML editor: Special characters can be inserted in webpage using tag support

Special Characters

The special characters consist of two types: one type of characters have special meaning in HTML documents. For example: the mark "<" is interpreted as part of an HTML tag. If you want to display the mark in the page, you should type "&lt" instead of "<". The other type of characters include those that can not be typed directly from keyboard such as the trademark and copyright mark.

In HTML Window

Steps:

Put the cursor where you want to insert a special character
Click the icon on the toolbar or choose "Insert/Special Characters" command to open the dialog box;
There are 73 standard special characters
Choose a special character and double click it. The tag will appear in the "Tags to Insert into HTML" field
Click OK and the corresponding tag will be inserted into the HTML code
