Filter Settings
To show the window filter settings, click on menu toolbar Tools->Filter settings.
NOTE: Filters will be activated ONLY if no accepted email address, accepted domain or accepted filter is found!
Normal email message MUST have From field, Return-Path Field, To field, Subject field and some others, maybe less important fields!
Domain MUST have at least one MX record!
Email address syntax MUST be valid!
To use default filters setting, click on button 'Default' and then 'Apply'.

Use this filter and ignore all other filters - When selecting this filter, all incoming mail that doesn't match accepted email addresses list or accepted domains list or both, will be deleted even if both lists are empty!!! It's NOT recommended to use this filter! |
Check sender DNS server - Every email you receive or domain from where it was sent MUST have MX records. In other words, MX record or records MUST exist. It's recommended to use this filter. |
Delete if email - Most SPAM emails have attachment which size is around 30 Kb. Some of them have viruses attached. It's recommended to use this filter with size restriction set to 20. |
Delete if email address is longer then - Some SPAMMERS will also try to advertise in the email address itself. Normal email address isn't longer then 30 characters. It's recommended to use this filter with length restriction set to 40. |
Delete if From & Return-Path fields are different - 99.9% of all email messages have those fields same. If you check this option and one field is missing, email message will be deleted. It's recommended to use this filter. This filter is valid only for POP3 and IMAP Internet accounts. |
Delete if From field, email address syntax is wrong - You never know which server will allow obvious fake address. It's here to help prevent even obvious things. If you check this option and no From field email address is found, email message will be deleted. It's recommended to use this filter. |
Delete if Return-Path field, email address syntax is wrong. Same as above. This filter is valid only for POP3 and IMAP Internet accounts. |

Delete if To field doesn't contain accepted names - Use this filter only if you know for sure what names you are expecting to get. If you check this option and no To names are found, email message will be deleted. It's NOT recommended to use this filter! This filter is valid only for POP3 and IMAP Internet accounts. |
Delete if To field email address is not mine - A lot of SPAM email messages are deleted with this filter. Don't wonder how can I receive email message when it's not addressed to me. IT'S POSSIBLE but we will not write it here how. If you check this option and To field email address is not found, email message will be deleted. It's recommended to use this filter. This filter is valid only for POP3 and IMAP Internet accounts. |
Delete if Subject field is empty - It's recommended to use this filter. |
Delete if Subject field is longer then - Almost same as filter 'Delete if email address is longer then'. It's recommended to use this filter. |
Delete if word is similar to any other word in Subject field - This filter will split subject to words and compare it with your words. Please note that you need to enter only one word and not more, else filter loses its power. For example: Let say that subject field contains sentence: 'Buy v1agra now and get 50% discount!!!'. Most people doesn't want to hear about Viagra so you will add filter 'Block subject word similar to' Viagra. Recommended percent of similarity is 85%. You can check filter functionality before you decide to use it. However, it's recommended to use this filter. |
