Adjust Video Device Setting

Before you run Webcam Surveyor we recommended closing all applications using the camera. If you run WS for the first time, the program will automatically be connected camera and begins to display image. If you do not see image after the launch of the program, then you need to adjust video formats settings.

1. Select video Device

Open Main Menu> Video and select your video device.

2. Adjust Video Formats settings

To adjust video formats open : Main Menu> Video> Video Formats.

After open Video Formats Dialog, you can adjust video resolution (1) and frame rate (2).

3. Adjust video device settings

To open video device properties dialog box go to: Main Menu> Video> Video Source. Also you can adjust camera settings such as contrast, brightness, and saturation by clicking on the Camera Settings button . A control panel will appear that will allow you to adjust the camera settings. Click the blue arrows above the control panel to show other camera settings. Click on the Camera Settings again to hide the control panel.
