Motion Detection
With Motion Detection feature you can monitor and record all motion activity. Work as a motion detector, program alerts to be trigged by events (send a e-mail, upload images to FTP site, capture all motion activity in AVI video format). Before start monitoring you need to setup Motion Detection options.
1. Set up Motion Detection options
To set up video compression options open: Main Menu>Options>Program Options and select Motion Detection in Program Options dialog box.
- To adjust the motion sensitivity, you can use the slide bar (1). The less of sensitivity, the big motion will be detected. If you use the camera in low-light you need to increase motion sensitivity.
- Video noise can lead to false alarms. Use video noise reduction (2) if you see a lot of noise on image.
- Use (4) If you want to delay motion detecton.
- Select one of the Motion Detecton Actions (6).
- Click on Set Mask for Motion Detection button (3) if you want to exclude a specific area where there is motion activity.
- Click on cells (1) in the image to select the area, where you want to exclude motions.
2. Start Motion Detection
To start monitoring click on Start Motion Detection button  . To stop motion detector click on the Stop button  . |
